Jackie Chan to put full-stop to action movies

Hong Kong actor Jackie Chan mesmerized fans across the globe through his movies intertwined with comedy and action.  Jackie Chan, who has been doing movies since 1960’s has done more than 150 movies. 

The movies as Fist of Fury, Enter the Dragon, Police Story, Thunderbolt, Who Am I, Shanghai Noon are among his noted movies.  The second half of the movie ‘Operation Condor’ was released in 1991. 

The third half, ‘Chinese Zodiac 2012’, directed, produced and acted by Jackie Chan is to be released on December.  Regarding the release, Jackie Chan spoke:-

‘I am aged 58.  I feel that action movies would not suit me anymore.  Also, it is difficult.  All over the world, there is violence aplenty.  Why show violence in movies also…?  Chinese Zodiac’ which is to be released during December would be my last action movie.’

‘One can see me in different roles and as good actor in screens’ said Jackie Chan.  Jackie Chan is conducting a welfare organization in his name.  He provides financial assistance to poor children’s education and medical aid to those with heart ailments.

In an effort to gather funds for welfare organization, Jackie Chan’s Bentley car was auctioned.
