The audio release for Karthi Starrer ‘Saguni’ was held at a large scale.  For the audio release in Satyam Cinemas a huge crowd had gathered.  There were many Karthi fans also.

Karthi gives pose with raised hands very much like a politician for posters and banners of the movie.  There was much hustle among the crowd on seeing the posters and banners.

After the audio release, an elderly reporter raised a question:

‘Karthi… is it true you are the MGR and Sivaji of Tamil cinemas?’

Karthi, who was taken aback said ‘Oh God… leave me alone… I do not desire playing this game… It is indeed not that… also, it is a wrong comparison.’
