Following asphyxiation, actress Manorama has been admitted to a hospital.  She is being given intensive treatment.

Already, Manorama suffered health setback. Few months back, she slipped down the steps.  She suffered a fracture in the leg.

Doctors carried out surgery and set right the fracture.  Manorama returned home and took rest.  After few weeks, Manorama again suffered a health setback.

Manorama was given intensive treatment in hospital.  Manorama was attached to artificial respiratory system was given treatment.  She was in hospital for nearly one month and then she returned home.  As Manorama signed up for new venture, she suddenly suffered breathing problem today.

Immediately, she was rushed to Apollo Hospital in Teynampet, Chennai.  There, Manorama is being given intensive treatment by doctors headed by Dr. Premkumar.
