Malayalam actress Bhama who has played RK's heroine in Ellam Avan Seyal got injured during the shoot of Shailu, the Kannada remake of the Tamil romantic hit Mynaa.

The Shailu team were shooting the Jinga Jaka..  song inside a moving bus in Munnar prior to the accident scene in the film. The windshield of the bus, which was made for the shoot shattered and the glass
pieces injured Bhama's leg.

Meanwhile a few pieces hit the eyes of the Kannada hero Ganesh. Both were immediately taken to the Tata Hospital nearby and given first aid.

In  Prabhu Solomon's Mynaa the original Tamil version of Shailu, Amala Paul essayed the title role. The Kannada version is directed by S Narayan.

When asked whether she is copying Amala Paul, Bhama shot back: "I'm not copying her style at all. My character Shylu is coming from a remote forest village near Mysore, where the dialect and body language is different."
