Actor – Medical Practitioner ‘Power Star’ Srinivasan is running his own production unit and is doing movies.  Movie ‘Lathika’ in which he starred gave him name and fame.  Currently ‘Power Star’ Srinivasan is doing movie ‘Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya’ starring Santhanam.  Also, he is doing Shankar’s ‘I’.

Industrialist Balasubramaniam hailing from Chromepet, Chennai has filed complaint petition with Kilpauk police.  In the complaint it is mentioned that Srinivasan promised Rs. 10 crore loan and demanded Rs. 65 lakhs for verification of property documents and other formalities.  Also, it has been mentioned that Srinivasan has not given loan in spite of the fact that he has received all documents.

So, Kilpauk police called him and held questioning.  As Srinivasan was questioned, it came to light that he indulged in similar fraud with another two North Indians.  Following this, Srinivasan was arrested and remanded in Puzhal prison.
