Protest against depiction of villain characters is for political gain, says Ajith

Movie ‘Valai’ starring Ajith and directed by Vishnuvardhan, is nearing finish.  Actor Ajith, who did dangerous action scenes for the movie, met with accident.

In a development, Ajith gave interview, excerpts from which are as follows: -

‘I am an actor. I do my job.  I am not the only actor who avoids dupe.  Many actors do action scenes without dupe.  But it cannot be denied that dupe actors play important role.

Producers and directors do not prefer making us do dangerous action scenes.  Beyond all that, accidents happen.  I saw death in its face. Nobody could do anything about it when fate is otherwise.

It is not correct to say that I am giving chances to new faces in my movies. God gives them those chances.

Now, it has become difficult to make movie out of hero and villain.  Situation is such that movie cannot show the villain as belonging to a particular caste or religion.  Also a villain cannot be depicted as lawyer or doctor.  Beyond all that, if movie is taken showing such a character, concerned people protest.
The reason is that new parties are sprouting.  They protest for political gain.  Also, media gives importance to such agitations.

Discipline has ceased to exist in the nation.  We say that the nation needs good leaders. Also, people should be disciplined.

It is not a responsible act for fans to make degrading comments in Face Book.  Those citizens who have been brought well would not make such comments’, said Ajith.
