Reema Sen is angry that people comment she does sister and sister-in-law roles as she is back to acting.
Reema Sen did hit movies as ‘Minnalae’, ‘Dhool’ and ‘Chellamae’. The movie ‘Sattam Oru IruttaRai’, released in 1982 is being remade. The movie is production by SA Chandrasekaran and direction by his relative. The movie stars Taman Kumar, Piya and Bindu Madhavi. Reema Sen does vital role as police officer and also emerges hero’s sister.
Reema Sen spoke regarding doing remake of movie ‘Sattam Oru IruttaRai’. ‘Some make mockery of me that I am seeking refuge in sister and sister-in-law roles as I am married. Is it that one should be aged to be married? Or is it that one’s beauty will decrease as she is married?’
‘I am glamorous and beautiful now. It does not require me to seek refuge in roles as sister and sister-in-law. With respect to this movie, I am doing the role because it was a powerful one did by Hema Malini in Hindi.’
‘In the remake, they have magnified my character and I appear in many scenes. The movie is directed by an 18 year old girl. It is my duty to encourage her as a senior.’
‘I am happy to have retained name as glamour actress. But I have not exposed for any movie. Even if I come covered in a sari, I would appear glamorous. It is a god given gift’ said Reema Sen.
