There is plan for remake of Hindi blockbuster movie Barfi in Tamil.  In Hindi movie Barfi, Ranbeer Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Ileana have done roles.  Since movie Barfi is considered one among excellent movies released in India, it has been nominated for Oscar.

Efforts are in progress to remake the movie in Tamil. It is to be noted that the Hindi movie heaped huge collection.  It is reported that Simbu would do Ranbeer Kapoor’s character.  When asked with Simbu, he replied:-

‘Barfi is a wonderful Indian movie.  I saw the movie twice.  The movie reveals human sentiments wonderfully.  I cannot comment regarding doing the Tamil remake.’

Already, many other language movies have been remade in Tamil.  Hindi movie ‘Delhi Belly’ is being remade in Tamil as ‘Saettaai’.  The movie stars Arya and Hansika.
