SA Chandrasekaran to go for legal action against decision by Producer Council

Producer council head SA Chandrasekaran said that it is highly improper that general body meeting was called for and also that it is legally wrong.  Also, SA Chandrasekaran told that his removal from the post is not valid.  He commented that he would file a case regarding this.

Also, he announced that he would call for a proper general body meeting.

In report he released today, SA Chandrasekaran said:

‘On 13.4.12, Friday, I came across the news in a daily that a special meeting of producer council is to be held.  The announcement sure triggered confusion.’

‘Through an advertisement and announcement, I, secretary Thenappan and treasurer Kalaipuli Dhanu conveyed to the secretary Muralidharan to  avoid the meeting.’

‘But not considering all these, the meeting was gathered on 15.4.2012, Sunday.  They announced that I am suspended for six months.  I came to know this through news.’

‘I was elected through proper vote.  It is not right to call for meeting in absence of the head.  This is violation of democracy.’

‘In this meeting, they have suspended me for six months.  Nobody has right to suspend a person selected through vote.  Even if one should be removed, a committee should be gathered and a show cause notice should be sent to the concerned individual.’

‘If the answer is not satisfactory, then general body meeting should be gathered.’

‘Currently I am abroad.  Once I am back, I will resort to legal action against those who violated rules and regulations of the council and against those who suspended me not adhering to norms.’
