Samantha, who has not been participating in shootings, arrived for movie shooting day before yesterday.

Samantha, who was to act in Maniratnam’s Kadal and Shankar’s I abruptly dropped out of the movies.  Many reasons were cited for Samantha’s dropout from the ventures.  It was reported that Samantha suffers skin problem and that doctors recommended her to stay away from shootings till recovery.

Due to the problem, Samantha stayed away from shootings for last two months.  In a development, she participated in Telugu movie directed by Nandini Reddy.  Already, the shooting for Telugu movie was conducted  for few days.

‘The test shoot was conducted to see whether there is change in Samantha’s physical condition.  The shoot was done for sake of continuity.  Samantha appeared tired’ said those in the set.
