Santosh Narayanan faces racial profiling at airport

Music composer Santosh Narayanan has alleged that he was detained at Sydney airport yesterday for a chemical test and was insulted by Aussie officials. Alleging that he was badly treated, he said racial profiling should stop,Santosh Narayanan, who is popular for his musical score in films including Madras, Kabali, Jigathanda, Pizza among others has a recording studio in Sydney.

He was visit the country often to record his compositions.Yesterday, he reached Sydney airport from Chennai. However he was randomly picked up by officials at the airport for chemical test. Sources close to him allege that in spite of his best efforts to convince them that he is a music composer from India, he was treated badly.

And the music composer himself confirmed it with a tweet. He stated that it was the eighth time in a row that he had been picked up by the officials at the airport in the recent past.

He tweeted, 'I was 'randomly' picked up for the 8th time in a row at the Sydney airport for a chemical substance test and a rude officer insulted my intelligence. Racial profiling needs to stop. @SydneyAirport'.
