Richard, who debuted through movie Kaadhal Virus, is to be married soon.  He is to marry granddaughter of late lyricist Kannadasan.

The movie ‘NaaLai’ which Richard did following Kaadhal Virus won him some name and fame.  He moved to Telugu cine field, and now he is back to Tamil movies.  He is doing role in movie ‘Kootthu’.

Although these much explanations are given, he is known better as former actress Shalini’s brother.  The betrothal between Richard and Satyalakshmi is to be held the coming 23rd.  The marriage is that which was fixed by parents.  The marriage is to happen the next year.

Satyalakshmi is a dentist.  She is associate producer for movie ‘Pon Maalai Pozhuthu’.  Richard conveyed that Satyalakshmi would continue producing movies after marriage.
