Sharwanand is back in Kollywood town

Telugu young heartthrob Sharwanand is back in Kollywood industry after a hiatus.

He was in heavy demand in kollywood town after the success of his tamil debut film Engeyum Eppodhum which created quite an impact among the audiences.

Close on the heels of that success there is a plan to dub his 2010 Telugu hit "Prasthanam" in Tamil as "Padhavi" and it is expected to be released soon.

Sharwanand received widespread acclaim from both the critics and fans alike for his brilliant performance in the film and it was the talk of the town in Tollywood after the release of the movie in April 2010.

The movie, which was directed by Deva Katta, in its original telugu version had Sharwanand and Sai Kumar as protagonists while Rubi Parihar was the female lead.

Prasthanam won several awards including the Andhra state government Nandi award and was selected for screening in the Indian Panorama section at International Film Festival of India, Goa.

The dialogues for the Tamil dubbed version "Padhavi", which is a political satire film, are being written by Prabhakar.

The makers, Ravi Vallabhaneni under VRC Media & Entertainment banner, are planning to release the movie at least in hundred screens across Tamil Nadu by July end.
