Same stars as Suriya, Anushka, Vivek and Devi Sriprasad are there in ‘Singam 2’ by Hari.  There is one more star in the movie, and it is Hansika.

The arena for the story is Tuticorin.  So, the shooting is to commence in Tuticorin the coming 26th.

Although the movie has much violence, other features typical of Hari’s movies as dance sequence in village coconut grove, joint family, and story with background as Tirunelveli, Tuticorin, Sivaganai are there in this movie also.

Suriya once commented that through commercial movies as Aaru, Vel, and Singam he got fans in nooks and corners of Tamil Nadu.  Although Suriya has done commercials with urban background, Hari’s action packed commercials prove oxygen for Suriya’s career.  That is the reason why Suriya showed interest in doing ‘Singam 2’
