Sridevi, who is now all but a former actress, is ardently into efforts of making her daughter an actress. Sridevi, who enhances appearance of her elder daughter Janavi with attractive attires and takes her to places, wears sexy dresses and participates in occasions.

Sridevi, during participation in glamorous fashion show, wore tiny dress which usually young women wear.  This was released in all sections of media. 

Sridevi’s dress and gait has irritated women’s associations.

‘Until she was an actress nobody cared about what she wore.  It would not have created much furor then.  Now, she is mother of two children. For her age, it is obscene to wear sexy dresses and appear in public places.  Why does not Sridevi understand this?’ is the question of Mumbai women’s association.
