Idhayandiran, a boy, underwent brain death a few years back.   His vital organs were donated to another patient.  This hit the headlines then.

Srinivasan directed this true story as a movie in Malayalam titled ‘Traffic’.  The movie which won many awards and appreciations is to release in Tamil.  Assistant director for Malayalam movies, Syed, is director for the movie titled ‘Chennaiyil Oru NaaL’.  He has brought in a few aspects which were not feasible in Malayalam.

Along with Cheran, Prakash Raj, Radikaa are doing roles.  Prasanna emerges a doctor and Saratkumar a police officer.  Sachin does media reporter, and there are actresses including Parvathy and Mallika.  Among these characters, nobody knows each other.  An instance which happens one fine morning brings together these people in the evening.  Director has done screenplay out of an act all these people carry out together.

Director added that there would be awareness regarding organ donation after watching the movie.
