Stories from Tamil Movies being stolen, K. S. Ravikumar accuses

Director K S. Ravikumar has made an accusation that directors from other languages including Telugu are stealing the story from Tamil. Director K. S. Ravikumar is the one who has directed several successful movies in Tamil.  He released the CD and spoke on an audio release occasion of the movie ‘Vilayaada Vaa’ directed by Vijayananda.

When speaking on the occasion he told that authors of stories are not being given the due regard.   ‘Kamalesh Kumar who has designed the story and the dialogue for the movie has taken part in several story discussions with me. He has also written a lot of stories. But his talent has not been exposed so far.   I directed the movie ‘Ethiri’ for which Kamalesh Kumar has written the story and also the dialogues. In that, there is a scene showing impersonation of a woman which results in confusion and the wrong person is kidnapped. The story has been stolen and a movie taken in Telugu.  This film was taken again and released in Tamil.  In that, a few friends kidnap the heroine of the movie mistaking her for another person.  This is the story of ‘Ethiri’. In the same way Kamalesh Kumar wrote a story based on a bike. The story of that film has also been stolen and released as a movie’, K. S. Ravikumar accused.

‘The movies mentioned by K. S. Ravikumar are none other than recently released ‘Uthama Puthiran’, and ‘Polladhavan’ starred by Dhanush’, murmured people who were there on the audio release occasion.
