Tamil Ezham people condemn commercialization metaphor used in Rajapaattai song

‘Rajapaattai’ the  Tami  movie, has had its audio release recently.   There is a lyric written by lyricist Yuga Bharathi in the movie.  These lyric words have hurt Tamil people.

Tamil cinema world should understand that Tamil Ezham should not be taken a metaphor like moon, water, air, sky, earth and flower.  There were only general remarks about the  Ezham in the Tamil songs. This is the first time ‘Tamil Ezham’ has been particularly mentioned.

Tamil Nadu is a place which understands the Tamil Ezham people, and sympathizes with the pain they have had.  But of late for political reasons and in cinema the emotions of Ezham have been commercialized.  ‘Rajapattai’ is adding up the trend.

Are the pains of the romantic hero in the film and the pains of Ezham people one… The losses encountered for Tamil Ezham are beyond words…. The scar it has left and the memory of those who sacrificed life for Ezham are inseparable from Tamil people’s hearts.  The quest for Tamil Ezham freedom has been commercialized and it is condemnable.
