Tamil movies ignored in Centenary Film Festival in New Delhi

P Lingam, MP from Tenkasi has condemned as Tamil films are ignored by the Central Government in Centenary Film Festival to be held in Delhi.

Lingam has stressed that amends are made to the itinerary such that due importance is given to Tamil.

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has planned conducting the centenary Film Festival in Delhi from April 25th to April 30th.

Movies in Hindi, Bengali, Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam are to be screened in during the festival.  Also, arrangements have been made for debates.

But, in the itinerary, there is no mention of release of Tamil movies or debates in Tamil.
