Two Music Maestros of South India to make contribution in Olympics

Following Music Maestro Ilayaraja, AR Rahman’s music is to take place on opening day of the Olympics.

It is said that this is the first time the music by two music giants is to take place at the same time in Olympics.  Due to this, the cine world and fans are exhilarated. 

The song ‘Naan Thaan Gnoppan daa..’ in movie ‘Ram Lakshan’ for which Ilayaraja composed music is to take place in the Olympics.  Also, song by AR Rahman is to take place on opening day.

The programs on opening day are being finalized by group headed by director Danny Boyle.  AR Rahman composed music for ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ directed by Danny Boyle.  Through the movie, he won Oscar.

Now, AR Rahman is again joining hands with Boyle.  It is not known what sort of participation would be there from AR Rahman’s side.
