After Idhu Kadhirvelan Kadhal, Udhayanidhi's upcoming movie with the same lead heroine Nayanthara is Nanbenda and Santhanam who is a usual cast in Udhay's film is also playing the important role.

The film is directed by Rajesh and Harris Jayaraj is composing the music. The films shooting is going in a fast pace and most of the film has been shot in Kumbakonam. The films shoot is in the final stage.

The film is being produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin's home banner Red Giant Movies and the movie is reported to have been slated for September release and Tamannaah has done a brief cameo.
