Viduthalai Siruthai Party complains with Censor Board against ‘Singam 2’

Following issues for movie ‘Vishwaroopam’, Muslims have raised issue with regard to ‘Singam 2’.  The Viduathalai Siruthai Party has complained with the censor board protesting against the movie ‘Singam 2’.

Movie ‘Singam 2’, starring Suriya, Anushka, and Hansika is bracing up for release.  The movie is direction by Hari.  The Viduthalai Siruthai Party has accused that the movie has scenes degrading Muslims.  The PRO for the party, Vanni Arasu has filed a complaint petition with the Chennai Censor Board:-

‘In movie ‘Singam 2’, directed by Hari and that which stars Suriya, villains are shown as pirates.  There are scenes against Muslims in the movie.  It is duty of people with social interest to pinpoint such scenes beforehand.  Now, we are bringing it to the attention of the censor board.’

‘Such scenes in the movie should be censored and then permission for the movie should be granted.  Not alone Muslim outfits, but also Censor Board is reason for stalling of the movie ‘Vishwaroopam’.  Only because censor officials have not attended to social responsibility properly, there is an odd scenario in Tamil Nadu.  Lesson should be learnt and the censor board should carefully censor movies.’
