Earlier Ram Gopal Varma commented about Shankar’s ‘I’ and compared him with Rajinikanth and Jayalalitha. Though Shankar acknowledged his comments he refused to comment on the comparisons.

Now after the release of ‘I’ he has posted a comment about Vikram that, “Shankar’s ‘I’ is path breaking in terms of its sheer ambition and Vikram India’s ultimate answer to Leonardo De caprio”.
