Ramya Krishnan to repeat Padayappa?

Ramya Krishnan, affectionately called the lady Markandeyini of Kollywood is ready for her next innings. The Padayappa star that had rendered a sterling performance on par with that of the Boss had got settled into marital bliss with Telugu director Vamsi Krishna a few years back. Currently she is stationed at Hyderabad and has a son. Further to  her wedding and motherhood, Ramya was seen hosting a television show called Thanga Vettai which was very popular and had received good TRP ratings.

Now the actress is keen to get into main stream cinema and if sources are to be believed, an offer to play a negative albeit a powerful role has knocked on her doors in a film titled Arumugam. This film will be directed by Suresh Krishna and Bharath is touted to play the role of hero. Though there is no official confirmation on Ramya being a part of the cast, if accepted, she is sure to steal the limelight from everyone.
