Prakash Raj is on cloud nine after getting massive response from both Telugu and Tamil audiences for his film Payanam (Gaganam is Telugu). The actor has thanked his ex wife Lalitha Kumari, who stood behind him during the release of the film.


The actor has said that the financier, who created a fuss during the release, tried to create a fake documents. Besides this, he tried to take the support of his ex wife Lalitha Kumari by bringing her into the controversy. But she did not entertain him. Instead she supported Prakash during the crisis.

Despite divorcing from Lalitha, Prakash Raj has lot of respect for her and he considers her a good friend of him. He added that they have filed a case against the financier. Last week, a financier approached the Madras High Court seeking to halt the movie from hitting the screens in Tamil Nadu. In his petition, he claimed that Prakash is yet to clear the dues of his earlier film Abhiyum Naanum, which comes close to Rs. 50 lakhs.
