(Prabhu Deva - Laila, Murali, Neha)
Prabhu Deva plays a youth from a wealthy family, who leads a happy carefree life, realises that he was whiling away his precious life, and leaves home to earn his own livelihood. Some scenes were shot with Prabhu Deva and child artiste Baby Kalyani. Sathyan, played by Prabhu Deva comes to the city to take up a job, does manage to get one, but his expenses on boarding and lodging soon proves to be more than his income. He has to provide for Julie, the little girl he has taken under his wing. Worried about their future, Sathyan goes to the nearby temple with Julie, and prays that his troubles be over. Suddenly a one-rupee coin rolls over to his feet. Taking this as a sign that his prayers had been heard, Sathyan is overjoyed and expresses it through a song. With Sridhar Prasad directing the artistes, Ravi Yadav canned the shots. Vidyasagar compose the tunes, the dances choreographed by Raju Sundaram. Yet another crucial scene was shot with Murali, Prabhu Deva and Baby Kalyani. Madhavan, walking on the road realises that his pocket was being picked. He grabs the hand that was trying to steal his purse, and finds that it was a youth accompanied by a little girl. He takes the duo home and warns them not to indulge in such thefts again. "It's four days since we've eaten, that's why I tried to steal", says Sathyan, the youth. Julie too nods her head in agreement. Feeling pity, Madhavan goes into the house to get them some food. He returns, only to see his suitcase missing, and the duo too! While Murali played Madhavan, Prabhu Deva and Baby Kalyani played Sathyan and Julie respectively.
