The parents, both singers of repute and with massive egos to boot, finally decide to go in for a divorce. As their two little children helplessly watch the deteriorating situation, their grandmother informs them that the problems arose because she had not kept her vow to send the couple to take the blessings of the various gods. The two kids sneak out of their house, deciding to substitute for their parents. Their adventures and hurdles form the rest of the plot.

It is a pilgrimage for the viewers as they follow the kids from temple to temple, pleading with Gods and Goddesses to re-unite their parents. The film has popular Telugu heroes playing the 'heavenly' characters. Having had a successful run in Andhra, it is now dubbed into Tamil. Some would love to see scenes such as the rat (the vehicle of Lord Ganesha) descending from the celestial height and biting the lawyer and preventing him from attending court, while the squirrel (Lord Rama's devotee) creates havoc with the rival lawyer's files.
