It's a love triangle and by the time the film ends, the audience would have travelled the length and breadth of the country, following the fortunes of its three lead players. As they take training for IAS at Missouri, Arjun and Abhirami fall for each other, watched jealously by Prakashraj. He gets his chance to be one up on Arjun, when Arjun is jailed on a murder charge and Prakashraj is posted in the area as the new police officer. Abhirami by now is an assistant collector. The director here goes haywire with the time factor. Further he has ventured into a field - the IAS and the IPS as the backdrop for his characters - of which he seems to have little knowledge. The screenplay has many loose ends, discrepencies and distracting sub-plots.
Arjun, despite the character's academic brilliance, is turned into a fighting machine. Prakashraj plays around with his role as usual, but this is one film where he peps up the scene which turns dull quite often. Uma (daughter of actress Sumitra) is chirpy and vivacious, and better here than in her earlier film. Abhirami, the actress from Malayalam films, makes a promising entry in the Tamil film arena. Lakshmi's role is badly etched and the actress is wasted in this movie.
