Post Subramaniapuram, several movies have come with a rural background that speaks about a group of freinds who share fun moments and comes across deceit, romance in the lives.

Joining the list is Azhagiya Pandipuram. The movie stars Elango and Anjana Keerthy and produced by Thaai Man. Directed by N Raayan, the movie has cinematography by Akilan.

The movie also has Sriman, Manobala and M S Baskar in the cast.It is a battle between two families. Manobala and M S Baskar families in a village are at loggerheads with each other.

What happens when a girl and boy from their families fall in love with each other forms the crux. They fight against all odds to come together. Considering this to be his maiden venture Elango has given a decent show.

He is good in action sequences. Anjana Keerthy is cool and bubbly. Sriman and Manobala give their best. The rest of the cast are adequate. Bharadwaj makes a comeback after a brief interval as music composer.

Editing by Sureh Urs is racy while stunts choreographed by Super Subbarayan are noteworthy. Had the screenplay is more tight, the end product would have been different
