After Arundhati and Rudhramadevi, Anushka Shetty is back with a female-centric movie in the form of Bhaagamathie. And fresh with the huge hit in Baahubali franchise, all eyes are on Anushka.

The big-budgeted grand movie film, directed by G Ashok, the movie has Unni Mukundan paired opposite Anushka in the multilingual flick, which also has Asha Sarath, Prabhas Sreenu, Dhanraj, Murali Sharma and others in the cast.

Bhaagamathie has R Madhi's cinematography and Kotagiri Srinivasa Rao's editing. S Thaman has scored the music. It is an eerie entertainer and Anushka's show all the way. She is the stalk and cheese of the movie. There are enough elements to prove why she is such a talented actress who is preferred to do female -centric roles.

The story goes like this. Angered by Minister Eshwar's (Jayaram) growing popularity, those opposing him in the political battle hatches a conspiracy to thrown him out of the fame. He is loved by all for he is honest and sincere.

Rivals decide to give the task to the corrupt joint director of CBI, Vaishnavi Natarajan (Asha Sarath). Her plan, along with assistant commissioner Sampath (Murali Sharma), is to interrogate an IAS officer Chanchala (Anushka Shetty), who served under Eshwar Prasad for 10 years but is currently in prison for murdering Sampath's brother.

To not arouse suspicion, Chanchala is shifted to Bhaagamathie Bungalow, a deserted place full of horrors.

The eerie elements in the movie come at appropriate places. They add value to the story. Anushka's encounter with horror moments add more pep to the proceedings.

The highlight is Anushka's scree presence. She has complete command over her role and pulls it off convincingly. Jayaram doies a wonderful act and he is perfectly suited for it.

Unni Mukundan has little to do, but does it well. Asha Sarath, after Papanasam, gets a meaty role. She does full justice to it.

Madhie's camera is bright and beautiful. It captures moments well. But the real hero is Thaman. Not just the songs by BGM adds more value to script.Anushka's sizzling performance makes it a movie to reckon with and watch out for.

Awesome Anushka steals the show
