Enkitta Mothathe is all about fans of Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan set in 1980s. Directed by debutant Ramu Chellappa, the movie is a film that speaks about nostalgic moments of 80s and the director takes to Tirunelvelias its backdrop.

The cutout culture of Tamil cinema that existed then has been vividly explained. Natty and Moodar Koodam fame Rajaji play pivotal roles. Interestingly the fans speak a lot about films of their heroes then and celebrate the occasion in a big way. Ramu Chellappa choices them well on screen.

Natty and Rajaji are fans of Rajini and Kamal. But are true friends. But a political problem separates them. How they overcome it form the crux. Sanchita Shetty romances Natty in the film, Parvathy Nair plays Rajaji's girlfriend.

Sanchita does a good act while Parvathy is spontaneous. Radha Ravi plays a crucial role of a politician who would do anything for getting votes.  The exact recreation of vintage days of 1980s make it a good watch.

Aarusamy is good at handling things and he managed to convey what he wants loud on screen. Cinematography by MC Ganesh Chandra is at his best He uses different tones ands lights to capture moments.

Natarajan Sankaran's BGM elevates the mood in the movie. Three cheers to entire star cast for they have made it an enslaving experience. Enkita Mothathey is a decent attempt but lacks pace.
