Rough note

No, this is not a subject that is untouched by creators but yes the script and screenplay are definitely a novel attempt by the director that has made the film interesting.

Four youngsters, Pasanga fame Kishore, Pandi, Sriram, Murugesh earn their living by running errands in Koyambedu market. The story talks about their hard work and success when all of a sudden disaster strikes these youngsters that changes their lives. Will these four get back to their normal life is the story that is told in an interesting manner by director Vijay Milton.

The director has brought before the eyes of the audience the feel of Koyambedu Market, vegetable godowns, Aachi Mess and the day to activities of the people. Most films that portray the people living in the Chennai slums talk of violence and vulgarities but here the director has completely changed the concept and has narrated the story with a punch of comedy.

Power Star and Sam Anderson’s comedy where they duo come for film shooting in Koyambedu market may look out of place but yet is enjoyable. Be it the four youngsters, Sugitha who plays the role of the Aachi, her daughter Santhini and Immam Annachi make an impact. If you thought these are the little boys that acted in Pasanga you are wrong, the action scenes where the four are involved do not promise any heroism but is naturally picturised by the director, enough to prove they are heroes in the film. Goli Soda is definitely a nice film to watch if the director had taken care of the filmy aspect that pops its head here and there!
