Director Suseenthiran, who made films like Naan Mahan Alla and Pandiya Naadu comes up with an action thriller in Nanjil Thunivirudhal.

A mix of action, comedy, love and a message, the movie is entertaining and engaging. The director deserves a special mention for maintaining suspense elements all through and a brisk second part.About medical industry.

But the director has woven a drama around the idea to make it engaging. Sundeep Kishan, after Maanagaram, and Vikranth play the lead roles. Mehreen, Soori, Harish Uthaman are also in the cast. The film is about a group of friends who come together and they have a problem for which they stay together and fight.

Kumar (Sundeep Kishan) and Mahesh (Vikranth) are good friends. They spend all their time together. The former is timid and fun-loving, while the latter voices for injustice and vibrant. Things take a turn when Kumar's sister falls for Mahesh. Their romance faces the wrath of Kumar's mother (Thulasi).

All hell breaks loose when a complaint is lodged against Mahesh for no fault of his. Little they realise that too is part of a bigger conspiracy by a local don (Harish Uthaman).

What happens then forms the crux. Sundeep Kishan is the stalk and cheese of the movie. His energy level is good. Vikranth is at his best and action scenes suits him well.

Mehreen as heroine is okay but her dialogue delivery has no sync.Lakshman's cinematography is excellent. The various tones used by him are good.

Imman's songs are catchy and so are his BGM.Suseenthiran has tried to narrate a different tale. But had he avoided cliched, the end product could have been different.
