Arulnithi is a man running through a purple patch in Tamil cinema. His films including Mounaguru and Thagararu in the recent past made an impact with the masses and his acting skills came for some appreciation. Now he is back with an entertainer in Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavaanikalum.

Chimbu Deven, a man who is known for trying novel things on screen and that is evident from his earlier films Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi, Arai En 305-el Kadavul and Irumbukottai Murattu Singam, has come out with OKMK.

Says Chimbu Deven, 'My first two films were historical and social satires laced with comedy, while the third film was out-and-out cowboy comedy. I addressed several sensitive issues in these films without ever trying to be controversial.

That's the biggest advantage of the  comedy genre'. Comedy always manage to tie down masses. I try to ensure what I want to say the masses through comedy. Exactly this is what I have tried about time concept in OKMK. Arulnithi plays a wonderful role. He has given his best, while Bindhu Madhavi will be the scene-stealer.

Bhagawathy Perumal who was part of Naduvula Konjam Pakathai kanom plays a prominent  role. A major portion of the movie was shot in Chennai. Doing a humourous films is a challenge. I am happy that all has come good, says Arulnithi.
