It  seems to be the latest fad in Kollywood to do films inspired by Malayalam movies. Many a movie made from recently have made it big in Tamil cinema.  Taking cue and coming out with one is editor Antony.

The famed editor who worked with many big names in the industry is making his directorial venture Oru Naal Iravil. Whatmore, Antony has won the game straightaway with his casting.Casting Sathyaraj in the lead role, he has won the battle straightaway.

A remake of Malayalam hit Night Show, the movie is produced by  AL Vijay's  Think Big Studios and Paulsons Media Private Limited.Besides uhi Sethu, R Sundararajan, Varun, Kalyani Natarajan and Deekshitha are also in the cast. M S Prabhu cranks the camera while music is by Naveen Iyer.

The movie begins on a brisk note and proceeds to full throttle. The unexpected twits and turns. Anu Mol  and Yuhi Sethu add pep to the proceedings with a superlative show.

MS Prabhu's splendid show behind the camera is catchy and colourful. One night's happenings are captured without spoliling emotions. Sekar (Sathyaraj) is a gun-loving ,iddle-aged man.

All hell breaks loose, when Sekar arranged wedding for his daughter. A feud in the family forces him to drink out in a shop. He takes the auto of his trusted aide and a driver Soori (Varun).

But the entry of a call girl (Anu Mol) who and sekar gets locked inside the house changes things. What happens then forms the next.

All said, such movies are a welcome addition to Kollywood.  Sathyaraj at is best makes Oru Naal Iravil makes a superb watch.
