After setting the screen on fire with Paandiya Naadu, Vishal and director Suseenthiran come together again. This time for a stylish action flick Paayum Puli.

There is a huge expectation among movie-buffs on the movie for it promises an action outing since the word go. Suseenthiran has managed to come up with films that are loaded with action, emotion and some suspense elements at right mix.

A bridge between commercial and art elements in his movies made them a winner at the box office.Vishal seems quite comfortable to go on an action mode. He does flex its muscles well. Also romance comes naturally for him.

And when he joins hands with Soori all comes good and a huge laughter on screen.Unlike Paandiya Naau where Vishal is a timid youth turns angry man, here he is a top encounter cop in Madurai who is on a mission.

From Vennilla Kabbadi Kuzhu till Paayum Puli, Suseenthiran knows the knack of giving a commercial cocktail. Add to it some peppy tunes by D Imman which includes sizzling number Silukku Maramae, the film gets engaging.

Vishal plays the role of a police officer well and his body language and expressions come to his rescue. Set in the backdrop of Madurai, Paayum Puli plays Vishal as Jayaseelan.

There is of course romance in the form of Kajal Agarwal, who plays Sowmya. Samuthirakani plays a meaty role with the likes of Harish Uthaman, RK playing baddies. Aishwarya Dutta, Jayaprakash Soori's comedy goes hand in hand with the story.

The film is about how, despite the bureaucracy and politics within the police force, they close rank when one amongst them is attacked.Three cheers to Paayum Puli for a super show.
