Actor Veera of Nadunisi Naaigal fame is back to play the lead in Rajathanthiram. A cop-genre film, it is a thriller directed by A G Amid. The movie speaks about three small-time criminals who are approached by a man wronged to steal the jewels from the store of a top jeweler.

Initially reluctant, the trio agrees finally and decides to stage the heist in the most inventive manner. Can they get away with their crime? White Bucket Productions and Sunland Cinema come together to produce the film in association with renowned filmmaker Gautham Menon as creative producer.

The background score for the film is by Bollywood composer Sandeep Chowta.  The cast includes Ajay Prasad, Darbuka Siva, Regina Cassandra, Pattiyal Sekar, Naren and Ilavarasu.A thrilling heist film, the screenplay is racy and unique.

Amid has ensured that the story is more of brain than the artistes being brawny. The movie settles down to establish the characters in the first half while the second half talks about executing their plans.

G V Prakash has composed a song for the film while Sandeep Chowta's BGM add pep to the proceedings. Rajathanthiram is short and crispy. And is engaging.

Well-made entertainer
