When you see the credit line with Anirudh as music composer, you know it is ought to be a good entertainer. The young music composer until convinced will never agree to be part of a project.

Rum though may be starring relatively newcomers, yet it looks an entertaining product with enough spills, thrills and suspense.A revenge drama which is musical thanks to Anirudh, Rum provides abundant fun and some scary moments.

The movie stars Hrishikesh, Sanchita Shetty, Miya, Vivek, Narain (Chithiram Pesuthadi, Anjaathe), Amzath Khan, Arjun Chidambaram and it is directed by Sai Bharath.

The movie is produced by Vijayaraghavendra T.Rum is about a group of thieves led by Hrishikesh who involves in a heist using their scientific brains. What happens when they accidentally land in a house which is haunted and set out to a typical spooky home.Hrishikesh seems to have come a long way.

From a shy and timid guy to a string performer, he has grown leaps and bounds. He gets under the skin of the character to give his best.Sanchitha Shetty chips in well to suit the role well.

Vivek and Miaa gather all steam to perform their best.A revenge drama with fun and sarcasm at places, it does work out well. But a little more spooky moment could have added some fun in the film.Nevertheless, thanks to Sai Bharath''s script and Anirudh's racy score, the end product is engaging and entertaining.

Funny yet scary
